THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS PROFILE

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus adalah sebuah band yang ber-genre alternative rock yang dibentuk pada tahun 2001 di Middleburg, Florida. Personil band ini terdiri dari Ronnie Winter – Lead Vocals, Guitar, Percussion, Duke Kitchens – Guitar, Piano, Vocals, Joey Westwood – Bass, Vocals, Jon Wilkes – Drums, Vocals.

Band ini secara resmi dibentuk oleh Ronnie Winter dan Duke Kitchens pada tahun 2001 setelah mereka memainkan ‘cover song’ Blink-182 di AP music theory. Selama 18 bulan mereka menciptakan lagu namun belum juga dapat membuat album untuk lagu yang telah mereka ciptakan, sampai akhirnya Joey Westwood dan Jon Wilkes bergabung dan membentuk band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus tersebut sehingga mereka menjadi band lokal di Florida.

Kemudian pada tahun 2006, mereka mengeluarkan album kedua mereka yang berjudul “Don’t You Fake It” dengan hits mereka “Face Down”, “False Pretense”, “Your Guardian Angel”, and “Damn Regret”.
Album The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus “Don’t You Fake It” Deluxe Edition (CD/DVD) dirilis pada 23 Februari 2007. Dalam CD tersebut terdapat dua lagu ekslusif, yaitu versi akustik dari lagu mereka yang berjudul “Face Down” dan sebuah lagu yang belum pernah dirilis di album (bonus track) “Disconnected”. Juga, pada bulan Mei 2007, salah satu single mereka, “Face Down”, menjadi salah satu soundtrack dalam film “Georgia Rule”.
